Team Building

To build a team you must first build the individuals!

Many team building interventions are really no more than stress relief sessions. There is nothing wrong with stress relief sessions – in fact, any good team building intervention should include these activities – like wall climbing, river rafting, paint ball, water fights, drumming, etc…

However, to really build a team there must be a structured process of adjusting paradigms, building self worth and casting vision before the team will work – and even then, if you have the wrong people working together you still might not pull it off.

Deon is well known for his unique team building sessions which enhance both the individual and the team. Many skeptics of the traditional team building concept have been won over by Deon’s personal and honest approach.

Team building events can take on many forms and themes including:

  • The wheel of life (finding balance and achieving your goals)
  • Personality Power (understanding why people respond to you the way they do)
  • The Hero Game
The Hero Game is a one or two day intervention split into four activities:
-The colour test (A personality profiling tool using four colours)
-Creating your hero (A right-brained activity)
    -Learning the game (Game rules)
-The Hero Game (Tabletop tactical war gaming in teams)

Each intervention is packed full of dynamic personal growth sessions; opportunities to communicate and take risks; fun games and sports… and lots more.
