Hi Private…
I’ve really answered all your questions multiple times throughout my blogs on the subject.
‘Faith’ does not interest me because nobody takes faith seriously in any area of their lives except religion, and can’t give any valid reason why this should be the case.

Empirical evidence is the issue. If you think you can arrange empirical evidence to prove without any doubt, to the whole world (Scientists, Atheists and Muslims alike) that your particular God, with his particular name exists and that he did all the particular things the bible claims, then go to James Randi’s site (http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html) and claim your million dollars. I’ll be watching.

Am I being honest? About what? That I don’t believe in God? Yes!!!!!!

So what proof would you need in order to convince you that God is real, and Jesus did die for your/our sins?… Are you referring to documented proof…or…something has to happen to you personally in order to believe that? Please help me understand, this proof you seeking.
If it is something you are not sure of…that is why we call it Faith. (or) are you looking for a logical answer that will convince you? Are you being truthful in your blogs on this subject or are you simply stirring the pot as you know that it will get you the attention/reaction you seek?

There is a term for people who want to describe themselves as atheists in a non-negative way: Brights are people with a naturalistic world-view free of any supernatural explanation. They use the term Supers for people who believe that world needs some kind of supernatural explanation (which would include Christians and all theists).

Also, I like the point about Satanists. In a sense, you need to be Christian (or least Judeo-Christian) to be a Satanist. Where would satanists be without the bible that gives them their Satan?
